First Day of School

We started off our 1st day of preschool with centers.
I brought my Dot paints for the kids to use, they are fun, easy to use, and not messy. Mason, made lines and Carsten, really got into the dot splatter fun.

Ray loves to build with the Lego's and blocks.
The puzzles were a big hit!

It was fun to see the kids cooperating and helping each other with the puzzles.

Brigham is great at puzzles and had them all figured out, in no time!

At circle time we went over our school rules, and started our calendar.

The boys took turns finding the 1st letter of their names in the word September, and we will be working on the days of the week soon.

We have a few flash cards that we will be working on and reviewing through out the year.

Here we are working on our colors.

Music is a favorite time of the day. This is the kids singing,

No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!

For snack time we practiced sorting(pre -math).
Brigham sorted his fish into colors very fast!
Carsten did a great job too.
Mason did great, after a little bit of help.
Ray quickly got his sorted, so he could eat them.

Also at snack we had story time, where we read the book " I'm as Quick as a Cricket" and discussed how each of us are special in our own way.
For activity we got to put stickers on and decorate our own school boxes.
It was fun to see the kids recognize their names on their box and supplies.

We also got to use our new crayons and color a picture with our favorite colored crayon.
Mason's drew a picture of his Daddy with his favorite color, Blue.
Most of the boys' favorite color is Green
Their favorite color pictures and the other papers we will be working on this week & next week will go into their, All About Me books.
So stay tuned for more learning fun!
